Mother's Day was Father's Day

Mother's day was fun for us this year. I went Saturday night to see my mother, Grandmother, Aunt, cousins, sister and father. It was a nice night and I was glad to get to see everyone.

Sunday I woke up with Alex to let Carrie sleep in. When she got up we went to George Webb's to get a pan cake breakfast. I've honestly never seen Alex eat so much. He ate a ton of pancakes, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, and eggs. It was fun.

Then, after Alex's nap, he and I went to see a movie. He loved it. I wondered if he'd sit through an entire film or not, but he had no problems. We left a little before the end because he was getting a little too excited. I wasn't sure it was a good thing, but in retrospect we probably could have stayed.

At any rate, Carrie got some time to herself, Alex and I saw movie and played in the yard, and everyone was happy.
